• Candidates must obtain Parental/Guardian permission and written consent to be considered for our pageant if you are under the age of 18.

• Once you attend one of our “Open Call” Sessions and have been interviewed by our judging panel, we will contact you if you have been selected as one of our finalists.

• Candidate affirms that she is a person of good moral character, affirms that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public moral and conventions or that will reflect unfavorably on the Pageant, representatives, candidates or sponsors.

• Candidate has not appeared in sexually explicit photographs, film, video or publication.

• Candidate must show proof of birth date showing she is between the ages of 14-27 years of age.

• Candidate will not hold  “La Belleza Del Año” Pageant Organization, it’s director, associates, sponsors or any other personnel associated with the pageant responsible for the loss of personal items, injury, theft, or illness while participating in the pageant, pageant activities or pageant related appearances.

• Candidate hereby authorizes the use of any photographs, videos, speeches, testimonials of the Candidate during the pageant, leading up to and after the pageant, or any other promotional appearances, all of which will be used only for promotional/marketing/advertising on our website, social media sites, tv/radio and or print.

• Any Candidates (or their parents) that exhibit rude, unruly, not cordial or unsportsmanlike behavior towards the director, pageant personnel, sponsors, and fellow candidates,  will immediately be disqualified and monies will not be refunded.

• Candidates must not be competing in another pageant while competing in the  “La Belleza Del Año” pageant.

• The winner (s) of the  “La Belleza Del Año” pageant,” will receive not only the title, but also an official, crown, sash, along with cash, awards and prizes.

• The winner of the pageant must agree to represent the pageant, herself, and the title, with complete etiquette and decorum: and also abide by all the rules and regulations governing the pageant with a professional attitude during appearances and non-appearances.   Remember you are a representative of the  “La Belleza Del Año” pageant even while you are not doing a professional appearance.

• As consideration for this agreement, the Candidate and their parents promise to pay the respective entry fee for the pageant and any other fees, with the understanding that all payments are non-refundable without exception.

• Candidates and their parent/legal guardian understand that all Registration fees, Optional Contest fees, deposits and/or any other additional fees in relation to the pageant are non-refundable without exception.

• Payment for pageant fees will be accepted in person at our Casting Calls and in the form of Cash, Credit or Money Order. 

• Failure of the title holder or any candidate that does not abide by the rules above may result in disqualification and/or removal of the title, candidacy, awards, cash and prizes, at the discretion of the Pageant Director.
